Bespoke Kitchen Design for the Modern Home
Nestovate recently completed a bespoke kitchen renovation for a client in Ringwood, transforming an outdated space into a highly functional and aesthetically refined culinary hub. The project was driven by the client's vision to integrate all new, large-format appliances and dramatically upgrade the style and storage.
The Challenge
The original kitchen was constrained by an inefficient layout and had a major flaw: the existing rangehood was incorrectly vented into the attic, posing long term moisture and fire risks. The design needed to seamlessly accommodate new, professional grade 900mm appliances while resolving the critical ventilation issue.
The Solution
Nestovate custom designed the cabinetry using premium Polytec materials in a stunning Matte Topiary Green finish, Calacutta D'oro Smooth for the stone benchtop and Taj Mahal stone for the splashback. Functionality was paramount, incorporating push pull soft close drawers and finger pull cabinets for a sleek, handleless look. Critical infrastructure upgrades included the construction of a new external chimney and ducting for the exhaust system, ensuring safe and effective ventilation away from the house structure.
Premium Finishes & Smart Storage
The design was elevated by the selection of high-end finishes and smart features:
- Stone Work: A durable 20mm Calacutta D'oro Smooth stone benchtop with a striking veined pattern (including a 'nip' detail) provided a luxurious and durable main work surface.
- Splashback: Modern Taj Mahal stone was used for the splashback, complementing the Topiary green cabinetry beautifully.
- Appliances: Custom housing was built around the new 900mm cooktop, oven, and rangehood.
- Bespoke Features: Dedicated built-in solutions included a spice rack next to the fridge, an under-cabinet pull-out dust bin, a separate coffee station, and a dedicated microwave cabinet.
The Outcome
The Ringwood kitchen is now a statement of quality and convenience. The matte Topiary green cabinetry, high-end stone finishes, and meticulous focus on functional storage result in a kitchen that is beautiful to look at, highly efficient for the serious home cook, and fully compliant with modern building standards
