Modern Kitchen Transformation for Instant Impact
Nestovate recently completed a full kitchen upgrade that transformed a severely deteriorated space into a bright, modern, and highly functional cooking area. The renovation featured custom-designed gloss white Polytec cabinetry, soft close drawers, 600mm appliances, laminate white benchtops, updated electrical wiring, and new hybrid flooring that tied the entire look together.
The Challenge
The existing kitchen was in extremely poor condition. Many cabinets were broken, shelves were out of place, and several drawers were jammed and unusable. The inefficient layout and failing fixtures made the space difficult to use and visually unappealing. The client needed a complete overhaul that not only restored functionality but also delivered a crisp, modern aesthetic suited to the home.
The Solution
Nestovate designed and installed an entirely new kitchen layout using a well-planned combination of base cabinets, upper cabinets, tall storage, and high-quality finishes.
- Base Cabinets: The foundation of the new kitchen consisted of sturdy, durable base cabinets fitted beneath the benchtop. These included a combination of cupboards and soft-close drawers, replacing the old jammed units. Integrated spaces were designed for a 600mm oven, 600mm cooktop, and 600mm pull out rangehood. Lastly, a dedicated cavity for the dishwasher.
- Upper Cabinets: Sleek finger pull upper cabinets were mounted above the benchtop to maximise storage without overwhelming the space. These units included both single and double-door configurations and a section for the rangehood, offering practical and accessible overhead storage.
- Tall Cabinets & Fridge Storage: To increase vertical storage capacity, a tall cabinet configuration was added, incorporating a dedicated fridge cavity a cabinet above the fridge for a clean, built-in appearance. This created a visually balanced and functional layout while ensuring easy accessibility.
- Applied Panels: Gloss white applied panels were fitted along exposed cabinet ends, concealing the cabinet carcase and delivering a continuous, seamless look throughout the kitchen.
- Kickboards: New kickboards were installed to cover the adjustable legs below the base cabinets, ensuring a clean, professional finish.
- Electrical Upgrades: All electrical wiring for the oven, cooktop, and fridge was brought up to modern standards, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the new appliances. New lights were installed to enhance the look and feel of the kitchen.
- Hybrid Flooring: New 7mm hybrid flooring was installed to complement the kitchen’s refined white palette, improving durability and adding warmth to the overall look.
The Outcome
The transformation was remarkable. What was once a worn-out, barely functional kitchen is now a sleek, modern space designed for everyday convenience and long-term durability. The refreshed layout, quality materials, and improved storage solutions have completely revitalised the home, giving the client a clean and inviting kitchen they can proudly use.
