A Modern Kitchen Transformation
Nestovate recently completed a stunning kitchen renovation featuring custom white 2-pac Shaker cabinetry paired with a luxurious Calacatta D’Oro smooth white stone benchtop and splashback. With a waterfall edge finish and refined gold accents, the new design delivered a bright, elegant, and highly functional space.
The upper cabinets were crafted with sleek finger-pull profiles for a clean, seamless look, while the lower cabinets and pantry featured premium gold handles to complement the overall aesthetic.
The Challenge
The existing kitchen was outdated, with ageing laminate benchtops, old rail-style drawers, and brown 150×100 mm splashback tiles. The standalone cooktop was awkwardly placed on the left side of the window, restricting workflow and limiting bench space. The client required a complete transformation that improved layout, functionality, and overall aesthetic appeal
The Solution
Nestovate introduced a full custom cabinetry upgrade including soft-close hinges, a built-in spice rack, and a dual dry/wet waste bin system under the sink. The kitchen was redesigned to accommodate a 900 mm cooktop, oven, and rangehood, which were relocated to the right-side wall for improved efficiency and flow.
The upper cabinets were designed with minimalist finger-pull access, while the lower and pantry cabinets featured elegant gold handles for a sophisticated contrast. A modern black tap was selected to anchor the design, and the smooth Calacatta D’Oro stone benchtop and full-height splashback delivered a clean, luxurious finish.
The Outcome
The transformation delivered a kitchen that is not only visually timeless but significantly more practical. The reconfigured layout optimises movement, while the premium materials and integrated storage features enhance day-to-day usability.
The client now enjoys a fresh, modern, and beautifully cohesive kitchen that adds value and comfort to their home.
