Sherin St, Morwell

Transformation of an Outdated Home Into a Bright Modern Haven

From Weathered to Welcoming

Nestovate completed a full property transformation for this Morwell home, turning a faded, dated structure into a clean, refreshed, and highly appealing residence. The project included an exterior revamp, full interior repaint, window upgrades, kitchen refresh, flooring improvements, and styling enhancements to elevate the property’s overall liveability and street appeal.

The Challenge

The Sherin Street property showed extensive signs of age and neglect. The exterior façade had worn, discoloured paint, weathered timber rails, and a tired-looking porch that lacked structural and visual appeal. Inside, several rooms were dark and cramped due to old blinds, damaged walls, and carpet flooring. The kitchen was particularly run-down, with stained brick walls, uneven vinyl floors, cluttered shelving, and heavy window coverings that blocked natural light. Overall, the home felt enclosed, outdated, and poorly maintained making it unsuitable for comfortable living or leasing without major improvements.

The Solution

Nestovate carried out a complete overhaul of both the exterior and interior. The façade was fully repainted in a modern colour scheme, and the deteriorated timber balustrades were replaced with clean white railings, dramatically improving curb appeal. The front steps were repaired and repainted to create a strong first impression. Inside, the kitchen was transformed by repainting the old brick walls in crisp white, removing bulky shelving, and opening the space visually with lighter tones. Hybrid timber flooring replaced the worn vinyl, and soft sheer curtains were installed to maximise brightness. A simple, modern dining setup introduced warmth and usability to the once cramped space. The interior rooms also received new life with updated roller blinds, fresh paint on all walls, and hybrid flooring that replaced the old, stained carpets. These improvements brightened the rooms and created a cleaner, more contemporary atmosphere throughout the home.

The Outcome

The Morwell property now presents as a refreshed, bright, and modern home with significantly improved liveability and appeal. The new exterior instantly boosts curb presence, while the transformed interior feels spacious, clean, and inviting. The upgraded kitchen, fresh flooring, and improved lighting create a cohesive, contemporary environment ideal for modern living. Thanks to Nestovate’s detailed renovation work, the property is now move in ready and positioned strongly for long term value and tenant or buyer interest.

The Small Room

The small interior room, previously dim with stained carpet, old bamboo blinds, and scuffed walls, was upgraded into a much brighter and more usable space. New hybrid flooring replaced the worn carpet, white roller blinds updated the window treatment, and fresh white paint created a cleaner and more open feel. This area can now serve as a study nook, reading corner, or flexible utility space thanks to its improved natural lighting and modern finish.

The Kitchen / Dining Nook

This area received a major transformation from a dark, rundown space with stained brick walls, mismatched storage, and heavy lace curtains into a bright, airy, modern dining nook. The old green brick was repainted white, cluttered shelving was removed, and new sheer curtains were added to flood the room with natural light. Fresh hybrid flooring and simple modern styling including a compact round table and framed wall décor created a calm, clean, and functional eating space.

The Exterior

The exterior renovation completely revitalised the tired façade of the Sherin Street property. The original green painted cladding, weathered timber railing, and worn front steps made the home look dated and neglected. After renovation, the house features a fresh modern colour scheme, clean white railings, updated trim, and a brighter, more welcoming front entry. These upgrades significantly improved the home’s curb appeal and turned a dull exterior into a standout, contemporary frontage.
