Nestovate completed a full-scale renovation of this residential property, delivering a carefully planned transformation that addressed structural floor issues, refreshed all internal finishes, and elevated the home’s overall street appeal.
The project included new hybrid flooring installation, professional colour consultation and repainting, full bathroom, ensuite, and laundry renovations, wardrobe cabinetry upgrades, and comprehensive electrical improvements. The result is a modern, well-balanced home with enhanced comfort, functionality, and long-term value.
The Challenge
The home was showing clear signs of age and structural movement. The original carpets throughout the bedrooms were worn and outdated, while the flooring beneath revealed noticeable level inconsistencies due to the house being built on stumps.
The existing wardrobes lacked storage efficiency and visual appeal. Lighting throughout the home was dated and poorly positioned, creating dim and uneven illumination. Ceiling fixtures were outdated, and the bedrooms lacked adequate air circulation.
Externally, the weatherboards, gutters, downpipes, and roof required a complete repaint to restore and modernise the façade. The bathroom, ensuite, and laundry were also dated and no longer aligned with modern functionality or aesthetic standards. A comprehensive renovation was necessary to bring the home up to contemporary living expectations.

Nestovate delivered a structured, detail-driven renovation program that included:
Flooring & Subfloor Preparation
All existing bedroom carpets were removed and replaced with premium 7mm hybrid flooring in a spotted gum finish. Due to settlement associated with stump construction, floor levelling works were completed prior to installation to ensure structural alignment, long-term durability, and a seamless finish throughout the home.
Wardrobe Cabinetry Upgrade
All existing bedroom wardrobes were removed and replaced with new custom-built cabinetry. Modern sliding doors were installed to maximise space efficiency, and full-height mirrors were integrated into each wardrobe to enhance light reflection and spatial perception across all bedrooms.
Electrical & Lighting Upgrades
Outdated light fittings were removed and replaced with new energy-efficient LED downlights throughout the home, significantly improving brightness and distribution. Feature pendant lighting was installed in both the dining and living areas to create focal points and add architectural interest.
New ceiling fans were installed in all bedrooms, enhancing ventilation, comfort, and energy efficiency while complementing the modern interior design.
Professional Colour Consultation & Painting
A Dulux paint consultant was engaged to guide both internal and external colour selections. Internally, three carefully curated feature wall colours were introduced across the living room and three bedrooms to create depth while maintaining harmony within the overall palette.
Externally, the weatherboards and timber elements were refinished in Beige Royal, while the gutters, downpipes, and roof were completed in Terrible Billy, delivering a refined and contemporary street presence.
Wet Area Renovations
The bathroom, ensuite, and laundry were fully renovated with updated layouts, modern fixtures, new cabinetry, and improved storage solutions. These upgrades focused on functionality, water efficiency, and clean contemporary finishes.
