Nestovate completed a smart transformation for a home in Blanche Drive, Vermont, delivering a warm and modern look through the installation of 8.5mm hybrid flooring in natural oak, a newly built custom staircase, upgraded downlights throughout the home and a feature chandelier in the dining area.
The Challenge
Our client in Valanche wanted to modernize her home with premium hybrid flooring in a classic herringbone pattern. The project required detailed carpentry work and expert floor leveling to correct uneven subfloors. The transition between the TV lounge and dining area also needed improvement, leading to the design of a new custom staircase for a seamless flow. Additionally, the client requested a feature chandelier in the dining room, which required our team to reinforce the ceiling structure by installing new support studs in the attic for safe and secure installation.
The Solution
The Nestovate team delivered a full transformation through expert flooring installation and carpentry. We levelled the subfloors and laid 8.5mm hybrid flooring in a natural oak herringbone pattern for the common areas and straight boards for the other rooms for a timeless look. Our carpenters built a custom staircase linking the TV lounge and dining area, improving flow and function. We then repainted the interiors, upgraded downlights, and installed a feature chandelier, reinforced with new attic studs for safety and durability.
