Every renovation has a story behind it — and this one, in Dandenong, was about more than tiles and tapware.
It was about a parent doing everything possible to make life a little easier for their four growing kids.
For years, this busy single parent managed mornings that were nothing short of chaos. With four children and only one bathroom, every day began with a line at the door, a race against the clock, and a shared sense of frustration.

The home had one large bathroom — dominated by an old, unused jacuzzi that took up valuable space. The parent dreamed of a way to make mornings smoother, reduce stress, and bring back a sense of calm and comfort to their family’s daily routine.
That’s where Nestovate stepped in.
We reimagined the entire space from the ground up, ensuring that every inch served a purpose while maintaining a balance of style, comfort, and practicality. Each element was chosen to create a cohesive look and feel that would stand the test of time.
The transformation began with a complete strip-out of the existing bathroom.
The old jacuzzi, the shower enclosure, the vanity, and the toilet were all carefully removed to make way for a fresh start. Once the space was cleared, we constructed a new dividing wall — the key step that allowed us to convert one large bathroom into two separate, fully functional rooms.

With the new layout defined, our team carried out new plumbing and electrical installations, strategically planned to suit each bathroom’s unique design and functionality. The shower areas were re-screeded to ensure proper drainage and durability, followed by professional waterproofing in compliance with Australian Standards — a crucial step in guaranteeing long-term protection and quality.

Once the groundwork was complete, the space began to take shape.
Our tilers brought the design vision to life with bright white wall tiles, chosen to reflect light and create an open, airy feeling in both bathrooms.

The transformation included:
- Walk-in showers with twin rail systems — designed for flexibility and ease of use. The frameless glass panels give a sense of openness, while the dual showerheads allow for both handheld and rainfall experiences, adding a touch of luxury to everyday routines.
- Matte black tapware and fittings — offering a bold contrast against the crisp white tiles. This modern finish not only complements the minimalist design but also adds depth and sophistication to each bathroom.
- Bright white wall tiles — selected to maximise light reflection and create a clean, airy atmosphere. The subtle gloss finish enhances brightness, making even the smaller bathroom feel spacious and inviting.
- Upgraded exhaust systems and HPM fans — carefully installed to improve ventilation and prevent moisture build-up, ensuring the bathrooms remain fresh, dry, and low-maintenance year-round.
- Heated towel rails — introducing an element of comfort and warmth. These were positioned strategically near the showers to provide both convenience and a touch of everyday indulgence, especially on cold mornings.
Every design decision — from the placement of lighting to the selection of fittings were made with the family’s daily life in mind. The result is two bathrooms that feel both functional and refined, perfectly suited to the needs of a busy single parent and their four children.
