At Nestovate, we worked closely with the homeowners and coordinated experienced trades to help bring this modern ensuite renovation vision to life in Chelsea Heights. Through careful planning, design consultation, material selection, and project coordination, the space was transformed into a stylish and highly functional contemporary ensuite.
The Challenge
The original ensuite felt compact and lacked functionality, particularly within the shower area. As part of the renovation planning and coordination process, the shower wall was repositioned further back to increase the overall ensuite size and create a spacious walk-in shower layout.
This adjustment significantly improved the flow of the room and allowed for a more open, modern design outcome while maximising the available space.
The Solution
The walk-in shower became a standout feature of the renovation, incorporating a custom square tiled insert detail and full-height tiling to the ceiling for a seamless and luxurious finish. A sleek 10mm frameless shower screen enhanced the openness of the room while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic.
Positioned neatly within the shower space, the recessed niche below the Round Ultrathin 250mm Shower Arm & Head provided practical storage while maintaining the clean design lines. A separate hand shower added everyday convenience and flexibility.
Throughout the ensuite, brushed copper fixtures and fittings were selected to introduce warmth and sophistication, complementing the overall modern palette beautifully.
The floating vanity was designed to complement the brushed copper finishes, featuring a combination of warm timber tones, white cabinetry, and a stone benchtop with soft grey veining. An LED mirror above the vanity enhanced both functionality and ambience, contributing to the refined modern feel of the space.
A back-to-wall tornado flush toilet was incorporated to maintain clean lines and improve practicality within the ensuite.
Large format 600x600 grey tone P3 tiles were selected throughout the bathroom to create a cohesive and timeless appearance. Extending the tiling to the ceiling helped visually enlarge the room while adding to the premium overall finish.

The completed ensuite now delivers a balance of luxury, practicality, and contemporary style.
