Complete Wet Area Transformation — Refined Comfort Across Every Space

Ensuite & Dual Powder Room Renovation

Nestovate delivered a comprehensive wet-area redesign, elevating the main bathroom, ensuite, and two powder rooms through cohesive detailing, spatial optimisation, and carefully curated premium finishes. Each space was reimagined with a design-led approach that prioritised functionality, durability, and timeless aesthetics—resulting in three distinct environments unified by a consistent architectural language and tailored for daily comfort and long-term performance.

The Challenge

The original wet areas were dated in both style and usability, with inefficient storage, constrained layouts, and finishes that no longer aligned with the homeowners’ vision. The ensuite lacked the refined atmosphere expected of a private retreat, and the powder rooms required a visual upgrade to harmonise with the home’s overall design direction. The objective was to modernise all areas while maintaining design continuity and elevating the standard of finishes throughout.

The Solution

Ensuite – Private Spa-Inspired Retreat

The ensuite was conceived as a sophisticated sanctuary, defined by brushed gold fixtures that introduce warmth and understated luxury. Large-format 600×600 matt light-grey terrazzo tiles provide subtle texture and visual depth, complemented by a gold-trim recessed niche spanning three walls for both storage and architectural emphasis, while a contrasting plain grey tiled wall balances the composition. A 750 mm wall-mounted fluted oak vanity with a stone benchtop and undermount ceramic basin reinforces clean lines and minimalism. A mirrored LED cabinet enhances functionality without compromising elegance, and a coordinating brushed-gold heated towel rail completes the refined palette.

Powder Rooms – Compact Spaces, Elevated Detail

Both powder rooms were designed as identical, highly efficient spaces that maximise visual clarity and ease of maintenance. The flooring features the same large-format terrazzo tiles for continuity, while plain grey wall tiles are installed to mid-height create a crisp horizontal datum line that visually expands the room. A rimless tornado-flush toilet, paired with modern accessories, ensures hygienic performance and contemporary styling suited to compact environments.

The Outcome

The renovation successfully delivered three modernised wet areas that integrate practical planning with elevated design. Each room now benefits from improved spatial flow, enhanced storage solutions, and refined finishes, while maintaining a consistent aesthetic narrative throughout the home. The project reflects Nestovate’s capability to execute multi-room renovations with architectural precision, thoughtful detailing, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Before & After

Powder Room Transformation

The transformation of this powder room is a masterclass in modernizing a small space by trading dated chaos for architectural intent. By replacing the dizzying 1970s-patterned tiles with a sophisticated combination of speckled terrazzo flooring and muted grey half-wall tiling, the room has shifted from feeling cramped and busy to open and airy. The addition of the integrated wall ledge provides both a functional shelf and a seamless backdrop for the new slim tornado flush toilet, which offers a much cleaner, back-to-wall silhouette. Finished with organic accents such as hanging greenery and minimalist art, the renovation proves that thoughtful material choices can transform a basic utility closet into a high-end sanctuary.

Ensuite upgrade

The outdated ensuite has been transformed into a refined, spa-inspired retreat that blends warmth, texture, and modern elegance. Brushed gold fixtures introduce a soft sense of luxury, beautifully contrasted by large-format 600 × 600 matte light-grey terrazzo tiles that add subtle depth and visual interest. A gold-trim recessed niche spanning three walls creates both practical storage and an architectural focal point, while a contrasting plain grey tiled wall balances the overall design.

A sleek 750 mm wall-mounted fluted oak vanity topped with stone and an undermount ceramic basin enhances the minimalist aesthetic, keeping the space light and uncluttered. A mirrored LED cabinet improves everyday functionality while maintaining a clean, seamless look, and a matching brushed-gold heated towel rail completes the cohesive, high-end finish.
