Nestovate completed a full bathroom conversion in Glen Waverley by reconfiguring an old
laundry and toilet area into a modern bathroom that blends convenience, comfort and
contemporary design. The aim was to create a space that feels generous, bright and functional
while using materials and fixtures that deliver long term durability.
The Challenge
The original layout included double brick walls which made plumbing, drainage and electrical upgrades more difficult than a standard bathroom renovation. Another major challenge was a window located directly where the new shower needed to be installed.
To address this, the team covered the exterior window area with weatherboards and built a new
internal wall to support the shower and the new tiled niche. This ensured a watertight structure
with proper insulation and ventilation suited for a bathroom environment.
The Solution
Nestovate redesigned the space to deliver a modern bathroom that feels open and refined. The new layout and fixtures include
bathroom featuring:
- Wall hung vanity that creates a modern look while improving cleaning access
- LED mirror cabinet that provides soft lighting and additional storage
- Custom semi frameless shower screen with sliding door built to measure for the converted space
- New downlights for bright and even illumination
- New HPM exhaust system for proper ventilation and moisture control
- Tiled shower niche to increase storage and add depth to the design
Each element was selected to improve functionality, enhance visual appeal and create a
bathroom that feels comfortable and inviting.
